[Ite-lnx-announce] Ny klient Teams / New client Teams

Microsoft har till sist informerat om att stöd för nya Teams på Linux nu 
rullar ut och ska vara klart den 15:e april. Stöd finns för nya 
webb-teams i Chrome-baserade webbläsare och Firefox. Microsoft Edge och 
Chrome stödjer också Progressive Web App (PWA). Om man inte har fått upp 
det redan så kommer alltså valet att växla till nya Teams i en supportad 
webbläsare inom den kommande veckan.

Den gamla native-klienten för Linux har varit EOL (End of Life) sedan 
slutet av 2022 och förväntas sluta fungera helt snart när gamla teams 
fasas ut. Den kommer avinstalleras från lnx-klienterna efter den 15:e 
april när nya teams är helt utrullat.

Microsoft has finally announced that support for the new Teams on Linux 
is now rolling out and should be ready by the 15th of April. Support is 
available for the new web-based Teams in Chrome-based browsers and 
Firefox. Microsoft Edge and Chrome also support Progressive Web App 
(PWA). If you haven't seen it yet, the option to switch to the new Teams 
in a supported browser will be available within a week.

Information on how to run Teams as a Progressive Web App can be found on 
the service website (serviceweb.liu.se) by searching for KI2212-00015.

The old native client for Linux has been EOL (End of Life) since the end 
of 2022 and is expected to cease functioning entirely soon as the old 
Teams is phased out. It will be uninstalled from the Linux clients after 
the 15th of April when the new Teams is fully deployed.
