Hello!

We now received funding from VINNOVA for continuing the People Powered Future process in a small scale. The purpose is to mobilize the field of design and innovation, strengthen activities, networks and people jointly reaching a greater impact and reach for their activities. The People Powered Future consortium is a result of the work starting in the Design Agenda and this network (www.designagenda.se<http://www.designagenda.se>). During this year, the PPF will reinforce activities, people, networks and organisations within the field of design as a strategic resource in society. The work will be performed in the following areas

  *   Research Networks,
  *   Innovation in Business,
  *   Innovation in Public Sector,
  *   Design and Policy
  *   Design and society
  *   Open School,

The first activity where we present the People Powered Future will be at the conference Uppdrag; användare, April 14 in Stockholm. (www.svid.se/uppdraganvandare<http://www.svid.se/uppdraganvandare>).

Other planned activities:

  *   Co operation with Forskartorget (www.forskartorget<http://www.forskartorget>) at the Swedish Book Fair, September 25-29. PPF will have an exhibition about design and innovation and promote design and design research.
  *   Design process with an existing program within the SIOs call (http://www.vinnova.se/sv/Var-verksamhet/Gransoverskridande-samverkan/Samverkansprogram/Strategiska-innovationsomraden/SIO-program/)
  *   Seminars and regional workshops about design as a strategic resource in society
  *   GovJam in Stockholm June 9-11
  *   Seminar in the Swedish Parliament
  *   Open school –policy for designers
  *   Design and Policy, pop-up labs
  *   Network for enhancing Impact labs and their business models
  *   Development and strengthening of the national network Design Faculty
