INVITATION: Teach-ins for Students and Academics in Sweden for Palestine


Universities in Sweden have adamantly maintained that they will keep to the government's official line that Israel has a total right to defend itself. They continue refusing to condemn genocide. Students in Sweden are left without a critical structure where they can assemble with others in the institution to condemn genocide and pursue an immediate ceasefire.



PhD Students for Palestine are setting up a series of teach-ins to provide a place for students and academics to gather and criticize the unspeakable genocide underway in Gaza, while planning methods and actions to stop these relentless attacks in any way we can.

The series will be focused on the specific issues of organizing for Palestine in Sweden, inviting experts to discuss with us the options available for academic criticism and radical action. Each session will have a theme which will be announced on the poster.


Schedule:

  *   Monday 29/1: Artistic Freedom: Decoloniality as Empty Gesture
  *   Monday 12/2: Artistic Freedom: Decoloniality as Empty Gesture (In-person event, information TBA at universities)
  *   Monday 26/2: Genocide Case at International Court of Justice (online event TBA)
  *   Monday 11/3: Genocide Case at International Court of Justice (In-person event, information TBA at universities)
  *   FURTHER TEACH-INS EVERY MONDAY: TBA
