Dear Spinlanders,

Several PhD-CANDIDATE AND POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS funded by the Wallenberg Foundation are available at the Center for Medical Imaging and Visualization (CMIV) in Linkoping, Sweden. CMIV (https://www.liu.se/cmiv) is a multidisciplinary research center with a strong clinical focus, initiated by Link�ping University, the County Council of �sterg�tland and Sectra AB. It is located in the University Hospital, within the clinical environment.

Suggested areas of research includes:

--- Concentration determination of neurotransmitters GABA and Glu (MRS)
--- Mechanistic modelling of the BOLD-response (fMRI)
--- Quantitative myelin mapping (qMRI)
--- Ultrafast fMRI (fMRI)

... with a focus on the development of high-performance MR-methods for diagnosing, prognosing, and monitoring neuro- and cardiac diseases.
