The REMESO newsletter will be sent a couple of times every semester, with information on the Institute's activities and courses at the Graduate School in Migration, Ethnicity and Society. REMESO is an Institute within Linköping University, located on Campus Norrköping, Norrköping Sweden that gather around 40 researchers specialising in migration, etnicity and labour market changes. 
REMESO is financed by FAS - The Swedish Council for Working Life and Social Research - as a Center of Excellence. Critical support also comes from Linköping University, Norrköping Municipality and other Research Councils.

REMESO will in January send out the first issue of its Newsletter, with information about the Institute´s activities, publications, workshops and also what goes on in the wider research field.

CAREER CONTRACT TO REMESO RESEARCHER (2010-12-16)
Peo Hansen, political scientist at REMESO, has received a 3 year grant from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences as career researcher together with three other promising researchers at Linköping University.

SPRING COURSES AT REMESO GRADUATE SCHOOL (2010-12-24)
In the Spring two new courses are offered at the REMESO graduate School of interest to any PhD and MA students interested in Ethnic Studies and Migration. It is <B>Theories of Ethnicity and Nationalism ? Historical and Contemporary Debates</B> and later in the semester <B>Introduction to Research Methods in Ethnic and Migration Studies</B>.

REMESO PROFESSOR COMMENTS ON LITHUANIA IN NYT (2011-01-20)
The New York Times has recently reported on the austere programs adopted in Lithuania to avoid bankruptcy. Professor Charles Woolfson at REMESO who has studied labour conditions and welfare changes in the Baltic states was, together with other experts on the area, interviewed for the article.
