The REMESO newsletter will be circulated periodically every semester, with information on the Institute's activities and courses at the Graduate School. 

REMESO is an Institute within Linköping University, Sweden, located to Campus Norrköping. REMESO is a "Centre of Excellence" financed by FAS - The Swedish Council for Working Life and Social Research -, Linköping University, Norrköping Municipality as well as other Research Councils and agencies.

REMESO RESEARCHERS COMMENT ON VIOLENCE IN POOR SEGREGATED AREAS IN SWEDEN (2013-06-07)
The TV- channel Al Jazeeras programme Stream have cover the riots in Sweden. Stefan Jonsson participated.  

Also  Carl-Ulrik Schierup and Aleksandra Ålund was interviewed in the webbased radio WBEZ Worldview.

SOCIOLOGY PROFESSOR ARUNAS JUSKA TO REMESO (2013-05-10)
REMESO is pleased to welcome Associate Professor Arunas Juska as a FAS-sponsored guest professor at REMESO for one month during this spring.  Arunas works at the University of East Carolina, USA. He is originally from Lithuania, he moved to US in 1990.

Nandita Farhad is a graduate of the Masters course in IEI on Perspectives in Human Resource Management, Linköping University. She has published in the journal International Union Rights, with an upsetting timeliness in relation to the ongoing catastrophe.

WORKSHOP ON INTERSECTIONALITY AS METHOD AND THEORY  (2013-03-20)
In February a workshop was organised by Tema Genus and REMESO as a continuation of the much-appreciated workshop on intersectionality in the autumn 2012. This time, nine researchers and PhD students elaborated on theoretical or methodological perspectives on intersectionality.
