<p style="margin-top: 0; font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #999;">(2014-09-24)</span> Women who are members the Sweden Democrats (SD) are driven by a desire to care – for ”Swedes” who have to be protected from outsiders, as well as for the people who come to Sweden. The best solution – including for these immigrants – is that they return home and get help there, or in a nearby country. All according to a study of female SD members.</p>

<p style="margin-top: 0; font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #999;">(2014-09-15)</span> Professors Peo Hansen and Stefan Jonsson, REMESO, have come out with a new book, Eurafrica, which traces the colonial roots behind the making of the European Union. The Columnist Minna Salami, Aljazeera, praise the book in an article in which she discusses the current geo-political interests in EU:s relationship to and intiatives in Africa.</p>

<p style="margin-top: 0; font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="color: #999;">(2014-09-10)</span> Swedish language instruction for adult immigrants focuses more on culture than on the language itself. This takes energy from language acquisition. The students are taught to be good Swedes, rather than learning Swedish, according to a new doctoral thesis at REMESO.</p>

The topic is highly relevant as global competition for foreign labour affect policy on migration and labour conditions.<br /><br /></p>
