Welcome to the REMESO Seminar¤ "Machine Discrimination" with Tuba Bircan, Vrije Universiteit Brussel on November 27, 13:15-15:00 in K2



Tuba Bircan is an interdisciplinary researcher, working as an associate professor at the Department of Sociology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium, and leading the lab for AI, Migration and Society (AIMS).

In this talk, Bircan will discuss the dual role of AI in migration studies - as a potential tool for researchers, and as an object of study - and its ethical implications.
