Dear friends and colleagues,
 
I would appreciate your help spreading the word about 

Johnson & Jonson is a partner institution I work with and they have a new award to support women pursuing postgraduate research. They have just launched the US$150,000 J&J Scholars Award as part of our WiSTEM2D (Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing, and Design) initiative. The J&J Scholars Award is a global program, and they would love to receive applications in all the disciplines from all around the world! I ask your help in forwarding on to colleagues affiliated with schools with graduate programs outside the US. Applications close October 31, 2017. I know that the deadline is really short, but I just heard about this and I am sharing it straight away. 
 
A point to make is that they are especially low on applicants in design and applicants from Africa and they hope to see some more applicants from there. Their design sub-categories will be evolving as they learn from this initial round but currently include User Interface Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Digital & Media Design, Applied Arts, Industrial Design, and Environmental Design. Some proposals may be multidisciplinary or explore new categories.
