Make your commitment matter! Help tackling some of the most challenging issues in today's world. This unique master's programme relates ethnicity and migration to global economic and cultural change, and to systems of domination and resistance movements.





Students of different academic backgrounds are welcome to an international research and education environment to study causes and consequences of migration and emerging formations of race, gender, labour, citizenship, healthcare, welfare and culture.

The Master in Ethnic and Migration Studies is an interdisciplinary programme, integrating the humanities and the social sciences. You learn how migration shapes society, from a historical and sociological point of view, reach in-depth knowledge in the field of intersectional migration studies and can tailor your education towards a special interest, profession or field of expertise, through elective courses, studies abroad and internships.

To apply you should have a bachelor's degree in the humanities, fine arts, social sciences, behavioral sciences, health sciences or natural sciences or equivalent qualifications is required.
