Kulturstudier is an e-mail based list for information and discussion on cultural studies in Sweden. This interdisciplinary research field critically studies new phenomena in the borderlands between traditional disciplines, in order better to understand the crossing flows of meaning, identity and power in times of intensified culturalisation, mediatisation and globalisation. The Kulturstudier list is a tool to spread new information on activities all over the country - publications, projects, seminars, conferences and courses. It also serves as a general forum for doctoral students and researchers to pose questions and discuss problems related to the development of the field at large, in Sweden and internationally. The list is run at Linkvping University by the Advanced Cultural Studies Institute of Sweden (ACSIS) in Norrkvping. ACSIS is a national centre for interdisciplinary and transnational exchange in the field of cultural studies. More information on ACSIS and Swedish cultural studies is found at the web site http://www.acsis.liu.se The main language of this list is Swedish, but English is also possible. Subscribing to kulturstudier
Subscribe to kulturstudier by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.
